Hands down my favorite Yards brew
A - Deep translucent brown with a thin to non-existent white head that quickly dissipates.
S - Crisp malty caramel with bready toasted grains.
T - Malty and simple with hints of caramel. Also picked up very subtle green apple yeast flavors.
M - Light and thin with restrained carbonation
D - Very drinkable! A perfect balance of flavor in a session beer. One of my favorites from Yards.

Went to Exton Bev today for a case (or two) for a cook out at my parents.
I saw Yard's Brawler there, and had to get it. Your recommendation was enough for me to get a whole case.
My brothers and I enjoyed it very much, we were not disappointed. For such a great call, Josh, I exalt you.

Thanks Matt! I'm glad that you trusted my opinion.
It's a fantastic beer and probably in my top 10 list. It's funny if you spend enough time over at beeradvocate.com you'll see that everyone over there loves big 10%+ Belgian, sour, IIIPA, Barrel Aged, type beers. But me, I have a fond place in my heart for beers you can drink 4 or 5 of that taste really good and afterwards you don't want to pass out and die.

Brawler is easily a top 10 for me, as well. Likely a top 5, actually.

I decided this afternoon that my next homebrew is going to be some sort of Dark Mild. That and I need to pick up some Brawler for this weekend.

Just painted for 2 hours... perhaps that Brawler in the fridge is going to disappear.
